Enrolment and fees
Change to the semester fee from the summer semester of 2026
The semester fee will increase by 15.00 euros from the summer semester of 2026. This is due to changes to the fee regulations of the Studierendenwerk Vorderpfalz.

Semester fee for re-enrolment
The following periods apply for re-enrolment for the next semester:
- Re-enrolment for a summer term: 15 January to 15 March of each year
- Re-enrolment for a winter semester: 15 July to 15 September of each year
Please transfer the semester fee, currently amounting to 155.70 euros, to the Postbank Ludwigshafen account within this period. Please state your student number in the payment reference. The amount must be received by the end of the relevant period at the latest; otherwise, a late payment fee of 25.00 euros will be charged.
Please ensure you make the payment well in advance of the deadline. It may take up to 5 working days for the payment to be credited to the account.

Please ensure you do not transpose any digits. Otherwise, the payment cannot be allocated.
Important:
- Do not enter the student number as the customer reference. Otherwise, automatic allocation will not be possible.
- Do not use instant or express bank transfers. This will cause the allocation to take longer than with a standard bank transfer.
If you do not re-enrol and do not apply for a leave of absence, please deregister by the end of the current semester.
The submission of your final thesis and any oral defence (colloquium) count as an examination. To do this, you must be enrolled for the current semester.
How is the termly fee broken down?
The university pays 15.70 euros of the semester fee to the AStA.
The fee for the Vorderpfalz Student Services Organisation is currently 125.00 euros per enrolled student.
Fees at Worms University of Applied Sciences
To enrol on a university degree programme (as an auditor), individuals who have reached the age of 60 are required to pay a fee from the semester following their 60th birthday. This fee is based on the currently valid State Ordinance on Fees in the Fields of Academia, Continuing Education and Research (Special Schedule of Fees) for Rhineland-Palatinate and currently amounts to 700.00 euros per semester.
If you had already reached the age of 60 when you applied for a place and are therefore liable to pay fees, you will receive a fee notice with a request for payment along with your letter of admission. This notice is valid on a continuing basis and remains valid until you complete your studies at Worms University of Applied Sciences.
If you reach the age of 60 whilst studying, you will receive a notice with permanent effect for the following semester. This, too, remains valid until you complete your studies.
This fee does not apply if you are already liable to pay fees due to being enrolled on a second degree programme.
A replacement student ID card currently costs 20.00 euros. You can apply for one at any time via Student Services. Please email us at studieren@hs-worms.de.
Feedback regarding outstanding assessments of examination results
If you have already completed all the requirements for completing your degree and are only awaiting your final marks, you do not need to enrol for a further semester. However, you may enrol on a voluntary basis whilst you are still awaiting the marks for your final assessments.
