Information on the Whistleblower Protection Act

On 2 July 2023, the Whistleblower Protection Act (Federal Law Gazette 2023 I No. 140) came into force. It transposes EU Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and protects individuals who report breaches of EU law.

Worms University of Applied Sciences has already informed its staff by email. Under the Whistleblower Protection Act, you can submit reports centrally to the internal reporting office of the Ministry of Science and Health, which is responsible for universities. This can be done electronically, in writing, by telephone or in person.
